The Farmer’s Lesson

Once upon a time, a poor farmer lived in a small village. Every morning, he worked tirelessly in his fields yet he still struggled to feed his family. One day, while digging the soil, he discovered a small injured bird. The birds wing was broken, and it could not fly.

The farmer thought If I take care of this bird, I will waste food that my family needs. But then another thought came: If I leave it, it will surely die.

The farmer made a choice that would soon change his life forever…

The farmer gently picked up the bird and took it home. Despite his poverty, he shared his little food and gave the bird shelter. Days turned into weeks, and slowly the bird healed.

One morning, when the bird was strong again, it flew high into the sky. The farmer smiled, happy that he had done the right thing, even if it cost him a little.

A week later, the same bird returned—this time carrying a shiny gold coin in its beak. From that day on, the bird visited the farmer every week, bringing him a gold coin as a gift for his kindness.

The farmer and his family never went hungry again.

Moral of the Story

Kindness never goes unrewarded. Sometimes the smallest good deeds bring the greatest blessings.
