What is non verbal communication.

Nonverbal communication is the transmission of messages or signals through a nonverbal platform such as eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, posture, and the distance between two individuals. Some scholars state that most people trust forms of nonverbal communication over verbal communication.
Seven types of non verbal communications are.
1.    Face expressions
2.    Body movements.
3.    Posture.
4.    Eye contact.
5.    Pera language.
6.    Proxemics
7.    Psychological changes.

1. Joy / Happiness


Joy (Sometimes referred to as 'Happiness') - symbolized by raising of the mouth corners (an obvious smile) and tightening of the eyelids.

2. Surprises


Surprises - symbolized by eyebrows arching, eyes opening wide and exposing more white, with the jaw dropping slightly

3. Sadness



Sadness - symbolized by lowering of the mouth corners, the eyebrows descending to the inner corners and the eyelids drooping

4. Anger


 Anger - symbolized by eyebrows lowering, lips pressing firmly and eyes bulging

5. Disgust


Disgust - symbolized by the upper lip raising, nose bridge wrinkling and cheeks raising.

Five famous hand gestures

.Hand gesture.

Gestures are a form of nonverbal communication in which visible bodily actions are used to communicate important messages, either in place of speech or together and in parallel with spoken words. Gestures include movement of the hands, face, or other parts of the body.

1 Thumbs up.

Meaning: thumbs up, Like.   The thumbs up gesture is usually used to mean good, approval, agreement or well done. Attention, in the Arab countries this sign is the equivalent of the finger of honour

2. Come here.

In the US and some other English speaking countries curling the index finger toward the palm of the hand is used to summon someone towards you. In movies the gesture is frequently used by a female character as a way of tempting a man.

3. The horn fingers.

A hand gesture raising the pinkie and index fingers on one hand is the emoji with a variety of other meanings. It can refer to heavy metal, the devil or an encouragement to proceed with an activity. Rock Emoji generally used at parties or concerts, especially those of rock music.
4. Looking at the watch.

Watch-it. To be careful or cautious; to pay attention to what one is doing.

5. The ok

The OK or ring gesture is performed by connecting the thumb and index into a circle, and holding the other fingers straight or relaxed away from the palm. Commonly used by divers, it signifies "I am OK" or "Are you OK?"

6. The v sign.

a sign that is made by holding your hand up with your palm facing out and your index and middle fingers in a "V" shape and that is used to mean "victory" or "peace"
